On the obverse - the Facade of Notre Dame Cathedral with the words ECCLESIA PARISIENSIS BEATAE MARIAE (Paris Cathedral of the Holy Mary ) and MCLXIII (1163 the date construction commenced)
On the reverse - a Statue of Mary with Christ child and two angels with the words AVE REGINA CAELORUM (Hail the Queen of Heaven)
Edge marked BRONZE in very tiny letters with Paris hallmark
