The reverse has a shield bearing mining tools with a windlass above, the legend ASSOCIATED IRISH MINES around and the date split into two on either side of the shield
In the end, perhaps as many as 8,000 different token varieties were struck (including different edge variations and pieces made specifically for collectors)
