This piece was minted circa 77 AD in the name of Domitian, who served under his father Vespasian, and ruled as Emperor from 81-96 AD The obverse of this type depicts the laureate head of Domitian facing right, with legends CAESAR The reverse type features Victory seated left, holding wreath & palm, with legends VICTORIA The quinarius denomination was not regularly issued, and was reserved for special occasions
