Shown on the reverse of the El Yunque ATB 5 Oz Silver Coin is a design emblematic of El Yunque National Forest located in the United States territory of Puerto Rico The reverse was designed by United States Mint Artistic Infusion Program (AIP) Master Designer Gary Whitley and sculpted by United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Michael Gaudioso The obverse shows a portrait of George Washington by John Flanagan However, whereas the quarters are typically struck from a clad composition and only have a diameter of 0.955 inches the silver uncircualted coins and their bullion counterparts are struck from five ounces of .999 fine silver and have a diameter of three inches
