It was minted at the Mexico City Mint during the reign of Phillip V of Spain, 1700-1715
The obverse bears the Royal Shield of Spain
The reverse features the Florenzada Cross unique to the Mexico City Mint
The coin is mounted in a sterling silver handmade bezel, and weighs a very heavy 29.1 grams, and the coin appears to be in the 25 to 26 grams range
