The reverse has "Drugs" at the top, "D ry Goods, Groceries" in the center and "Hardware & Notions" around the lower half of the edge of the field
There are a couple of small cuds on the obverse, at "U" and the "D" in United, a rim ding near the "R" in "Hardware" on the reverse
Civil War tokens are fascinating bits of history that were privately minted approximately 150 years ago to make up for a severe shortage of government-issued coinage during the war
