OBVD N MAG MAXIMVS P F AVG, diademed, draped & cuirassed bust right
REVREPARATIO REIPVB, emperor standing facing, head left, holding Victory on globe in left hand & raising kneeling, turreted woman with right hand
On the obverse his bust is facing right and is adorned with pearl diadems, drapery, and a cuirass
On the reverse, the Emperor reaches down to raise up a kneeling woman while holding a victoriola in the other hand
The coin was minted in either of the ancient Roman cities of Arles or Lyons
MAGNUS MAXIMUS AE2 (22-23 mm, 3.96 gm)
