Characteristics of high denomination coins - Dichalcos:
The average weight of the coin is 16.40 grams
On its reverse the Greek legend was meant to attest on Antigonus' kingshipand use of the coin as a means of advertising it in foreign cities in Eretz Israel
Some of the coins were minted in low quality
For example, the coin with the denomination of 8 Prutah due to poor minting quality because of a high concentration of lead
