OBVDN FOCA NE PE AV or similar, Phocas on left, holding cross on globe and Leontia, on right, holding sceptre topped by cross, standing facing
REVLarge m (lower case), ANNO to left, cross above, II to right
The reverse had a large letter indicating the coin denomination according to numerology (M or mu = 40, K or kappa = 20, I or iota = 10, and E or epsilon = 5)
On the obverse of this coin Emperor Phocas sits with Empress Leontia
This coin was minted in the ancient ancient city of Antioch in what is now southern Turkey near the border with Syria
