This is an antique silver coin minted in Germany
On the obverse is a portrait and the legend Karl Koenig von Wuerttemberg
On the reverse is an attractive lion, stag, and crown coat of arms and the date 1866
The legend on the reverse reads: Ein Vereinsthaler
There is also writing on the edge that reads: Munzvertrag VOM 24 Januar 1357
