The reverse shows an Indian head, facing the viewer's left, with stars around, and the date, 1863, below
The reverse has a reddish brown color on the Indian's face and the fields in front of it, and a lighter area of the same type color on the upper right near the edge
The reverse is mostly the toned yellowish brass color with a dark area over the town name, and part of the state abbreviation
A small spot of similar color is seen near the edge on the upper right
