More info
REVTwo soldiers holding spears and shields on either side of two military standards - GLORIA EXERCITVS
(Diameter - 16 x18 mm
Weight 1.82 grams)
Minted late during the reign of Constantine the Great (307-337 AD) this reverse type is one of the most famous in Roman numismatic history
There are nice details on the emperor's bust and the two soldiers on the reverse and the coin has an attractive black patina
The bottom of the bust and the corresponding bottom of the reverse are weakly struck, so there is no mint mark showing
