The token, is made of white metal/aluminum and is 1 1/2 inches in diameter and 1/8th inch thick
The obverse side features the image of the State House said to be the "Grandest in the Union" with the inscription "Capital of Texes" across the top and "Dedicated May 1888" across the bottom"
The reverse side has the inscription "Camp Ross" across the top, "Austin Interstate Drill" across the bottom
