It is about 17-18mm across
The obverse has a right-facing bust of the emperor w/ diadem and the legend is D N VALENS P F AVG (roughly translated, "Our Lord, Valens, Pious, Happy, and Revered")
The reverse shows the emperor dragging a captive and holding a labarum (a staff with a Christogram ( χρ, the first two letters of 'Christ' in Greek)
The devices retain some detail on the obverse, and the legends are about 75% readable (with effort)
