What it looks like to me, is this coin was a keepsake that was stored reverse up on a dresser, shelf, mantlepiece for a long time

(UK weight and diameter, US alloy! Does this make it a kind of a "mule?" It could be worth amazing amounts of money, I could be rich! Uh, calm down here
