This is a 2013 1 OZ .9999 Fine Silver Canadian Maple Leaf Wood Bison Wildlife Series, one of the most beloved coins produced by the Royal Canadian Mint
The artwork strike itself contains the initials "ED" indicating the designer and 9999 in reference to the extra fine grade of the coins silver content
On the other side of the coin is the familiar bust of Queen Elizabeth II, with inscriptions indicating the coin's year and 5 Dollar (Canadian) face value
