The gold-plated zinc DIY2 coin was released in early 2014 and is 35mm in diameter with a thickness of 3mm
The obverse of the coin features a global setting showing the world surrounding a Bitcoin "B" logo
The year of release, "2014", is displayed at the top and on the bottom the words "Quarter Bitcoin" are present , giving the coin a recommended denomination (face value)
The reverse of the coin is flat & smooth and has a recessed square, 15mm in diameter, stamped into it for holding a printed out private key for a Bitcoin address
