German Third Reich small denomination coins minted from 1936 to 1940 consist of bronze (1 and 2 Reichspfennig) and aluminum-bronze (5 and 10 Reichspfennig) materials
In 1940, the bronze Two Reichspfennig was minted less and eliminated by the end of that year
1,5 and 10 Reichspfennig coins issued after VE Day (Victory in Europe, May 8,1945) were minted with the wreath and swastika removed
