OBVAVGVSTVS TRIBVNIC POTEST, three lines in wreath of oak leaves
REVlegend around large SC
The obverse depicts three line of an Augustan title: AVGVSTVS POTEST TRIBVNIC translated as "the emperor (augustus) holds tribunican power"
The reverse of the coin also has the letters S and C. This is an abbreviation of Senatus Consulto which indicates the coin was struck with the support and decree of the Roman Senate
