This coin is from the inaugural issue of the popular Austrailian Kookaburra bullion coin series and, as noted on the coin, contains 1 troy oz of .999 fine silver
2015 is the 25th anniversary of the minting of this coin and the 2015 Kookaburra has the same reverse design -- a Kookaburra sitting on a stump -- which seems to have increased interest in the 1990 coin
